Pakistan's consulate in Kabul goes under assault:FO

 An attack on the Pakistani consulate in Kabul on Friday targeted the Chargé d'Affaires to Afghanistan, Ubaidur Rehman Nizamani, according to a public statement released by the Unknown Office (FO).

The FO said that there was an attack at the government office compound. Sepoy Israr Mohammad, a safety officer who was protecting the mission head, said that Nizamani was safe and had "basic wounds." 

 

According to the public statement, Pakistan "unequivocally condemns" the attempted murder of Nizamani and the attack on the consulate compound.

 

"The interim legislature of Afghanistan should quickly hold comprehensive examinations regarding this assault, catch the culprits, consider them responsible, and go to earnest lengths to guarantee the wellbeing and security of Pakistani strategic faculty and Afghan residents," the FO stated.

A Consulate official told AFP that a single assailant "came behind the front of houses and began shooting." 

 

"The representative and the diverse staff are protected, but as a precaution, we are not going beyond the consulate building," he stated. 

 

Nizamani took charge of his situation on November 4.

The incident was condemned by the unfamiliar Afghan service. Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the delegate for the Taliban's new help, gave a statement pronouncing that security associations would "truly inspect" the episode and perceive the wrongdoers to rebuke them.

The explanation indicates that the Afghan government would not permit "personal stake components" to pose a threat to the security of the political mission staff.

PM Shehbaz and FM Bilawal condemn the incident. The most prominent official in Pakistan to condemn the "obnoxious death endeavor" was the head of state, Shehbaz Sharif.

"I conveyed the fortitude of the public authority and individuals to him and assured him of my full assistance, both for himself and his primary objective. " I also conveyed prayers for the fearless security officer's rapid recuperation," the state head continued.

Independently, authorities disclosed on Friday that two aggressors were killed when three unidentified assailants attempted to storm the base camp of an Afghan party led by veteran legislator Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.

Ghairat Baheer, a member of the Hizb-I-Islami party, claims that 33% of the attackers managed to get out of the Kabul building, which also houses a mosque. Two of the attackers were killed while attempting to enter the building.

He stated, "The vehicle exploded outside, so there was little damage."

Hekmatyar, a savvy legislator who led the state in the 1990s, was inside at the time, according to the authorities, but he was safe.

Obaidullah Muddabir, a senior area cop, said that two of the attackers had died, but he thought the third had been taken.

The Hizb-I-Islami office screens informed us that there were three interlopers. They killed two and injured one before they could reach the planned target.

Hekmatyar is considered a political survivor in Afghanistan because he fought against the Soviet occupation, the Taliban's first term in power, and the Western-backed government that ran the country until August of last year.
