Sonu Sood's action-thriller Fateh is finally scheduled to release in January 2023, more than a year after the announcement. After going through several revisions over the past year, the project is currently back on track and moving along smoothly with a 2023 production plan.
The review has been completed, the cast and crew have been finalized, and Abhinandan Gupta, making his directorial debut with this movie, has started pre-production. According to people familiar with the situation, Jacqueline recently signed on to star in the film. She will play the female lead alongside Sonu Sood and tackle the problem of digital scams together. The story provokes thought and has high-octane action scenes at its core. It will also feature Sood in a new avatar.
The story and screenplay were written by the Dabangg actor himself, and he is also producing it with Zee Studios. He is said to have worked on the script for a year and a half and consulted with a lot of ethical hackers to make sure the movie's portrayal of the subject matter is true. The film's official shooting will begin in Mumbai in the middle of January, and Sood has been heavily involved in every aspect of the process.

In Fateh, Sonu Sood, who has mostly played second leads or villains in his career, returns as the main character. After rising to national prominence for his efforts to assist migrants in returning home during the COVID pandemic, the action thriller also marks his significant return to the big screen. After finishing this film by April 2023, Sood is expected to move on to a major Hindi film for which he is currently in negotiations.
